Ruben Nicolas Meier

Ruben Nicolas Meier is an award-winning director and graduate of the Film University Babelsberg. He began his career in documentary filmmaking and screened a range of short films at international festivals before moving into commercial work, where the pace and precision of the format shaped his visual approach.

As founder, producer, and creative director of his own production company, Ruben developed and led international campaigns for brands such as Google, Nike, and Swatch, while also directing music videos for artists including Capital Bra, Bausa, Reezy, and Max Herre. He stepped away from the company to focus entirely on his own directing and writing work.

Ruben is currently developing new photography projects while writing and directing his debut feature film, set to shoot at the end of the year. Working independently across film, photography, and writing, his work combines stylized storytelling and a fascination for beauty, kitsch and visual storytelling.
