SYNKRON are a young directing/ dop duo from Zurich.
Tim Holder’s & Yannis Petrone’s (1997/1998) friendship and passion for film began years ago in the skate park.
Besides working together they share all their other hobbies, from sports to good food to art – they understand each other instinctively.
Both of them are very visually inclined. Tim does the camera work and implements Yannis’ creative ideas. This merges into a constructive exchange and is their recipe for success. The two are bold and hungry and always looking for a new challenge.
SYNKRON are ready to go that extra mile and put their hearts and souls, into every project, so that together, with a cool team, they can transfer their ideas from paper to the screen.

In 2024, they won a Bronze Cannes Lion in the Film Craft category for their campaign with Greenpeace, "Half of the oxygen we breath."
