Kitty Bertazzi

Kitty Bertazzi from Lisbon is a director with a vast experience in TV commercials. She developed her directorial style in her home land Brazil, after studying in the US. In the beginning Kitty made a vast variety of commercials until, she stumbled upon the spontaneity one finds while working with children. Kitty’s affectionate and style-defining perspective, as a woman and mother, gifts authenticity and the beauty of everyday life to her films. Whether it’s children or grown-ups her films are always charming and fresh.

Kitty acquired a taste for being behind the scenes while studying acting at the famous Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. After completing several cinema courses at New York University, she moved to Brazil to start her directing career at the Production House o2 films by Fernando Meirelles (City of God).
